functionalities of this department are Contract
Review, Sales, Marketing, Estimation &
Quantity Survey. This department deals with all
of our customer enquiries to ensure the client
receives the initial consultation to establish
the best value for money solution.
Once
the project is complete then the Commercial
Department will review the performance with the
client. Estimating and Quantity survey are
carried out by experienced staff using
State-of-the-art systems to optimise material
usage, increase productivity and to eliminate
costly duplications.
Engineering
Computer Aided
Design terminals are used to draft and design
shop drawings. Cutting-Edge 2D & 3D tools
and internet technologies are used to ensure the
preparation & transfer of information in
time.
Al Abbar works closely in
collaboration with the major world renown
specialist curtain wall designers, to jointly
develop solutions to meet the most demanding
requirement of today's
projects.
Structural design and analysis
is carried out by certified structural
engineers.
Production
Cutting,
drilling, milling, routing and welding
fabrication processes are undertaken in-house,
using our own skilled work
force.
Fabrication is carried out using
up-to-the-minute machinery, including Computer
Numerically Controlled (CNC) equipment to ensure
the highest quality and accuracy is
achieved.
Al Abbar Group functions,
totally quality-controlled manufacturing lines
at its divisions. We specialize in maximizing
off-site production in order to ensure
factory-controlled quality by manufacturing
complete elements. We also minimizes the cost
and the time required for installation on site.
From the computerized storage system through
CAD/CAM-linked manufacturing equipments, Al

The IT department
provides a wide variety of services including
networking, IT planning, custom programming,
Internet and e-mail solutions, help desk,
troubleshooting and installations. Monitoring,
scheming and infrastructure design and
implementation of WAN and LAN links to the
sites.

Human Resources
Any employee with
issues or questions about compensation,
benefits, immigration, work environment, etc.,
will find this department responsive to their
needs. The HR Department also provides support
to supervisors and assists with policy
interpretation.
The HR Department is the
first point of contact employees Once hired, all
aspects of an employee's employment, such as
immigration issues, and compensation and
benefits, including health insurance plans,
etc., are handled by HR.
Employee relations, such as service awards
presented in five-year increments, health and
safety fairs, and contact with retirees, are an
important function of the department. General
administrative duties, including record keeping
for legal compliance, employee assistance such
as counseling and/or treatment, training
opportunities, and electronic access to records
for employees, round out HR's
responsibilities.
